The Free Intake Call – Let’s Align

We begin with a 20-minute intake call — a space for you to share your horse’s story, your goals, your questions. I listen, observe, and tune in. This call helps us both feel into whether we’re a fit, and what your horse might need next.

The Intake Treatment – Listening with Hands and Heart

Next, we schedule an intake treatment on-site. This is where the real conversation with your horse begins.

I use manual techniques, observation, and palpation to map out what their body is telling me. My signature checklists guide me through the full-body intake, and you’ll receive your own to fill out — bringing your perspective into the mix.

Before I arrive:

Your horse should be dry, clean, and brushed, ready for hands-on work. This preparation matters — it shows respect for the process and supports better results.

Throughout the session, I take photos and video recordings — these serve both as internal case documentation and (with your consent) as content for my educational posts and social media. Transparency, beauty, and data go hand in hand.

Debrief & Program Recommendation – Your Roadmap Unfolds

After the intake, we sit down to discuss what I found. You’ll receive honest, clear feedback — what I felt, what I saw, what it all means.

From there, I’ll recommend the program that best suits your horse’s body, your ambitions, and our shared rhythm.

If you’ve already chosen a program, I’ll check whether it aligns with what I’ve discovered.

Behind the scenes, I work with a professional software system that keeps a secure and detailed digital file of your horse’s history. I upload treatment notes, videos, photos, and checklist data directly into your horse’s record — and can easily send you updates by email.

My system is designed to track and honour the full circle of care — from vaccinations to dental work, surgery, saddle fitting, or other treatments by fellow professionals. This gives us — and your entire team — a clear, evolving overview that supports smart decisions and seamless teamwork over time.

Scheduling & Planning – Laying the Foundation

Once we’re aligned, I begin scheduling your program: treatments, progress checks, and any included extras like saddle fit consults, movement sessions, or homework tasks.

I’ll also establish your horse’s individualised treatment plan or advice sheet, based on everything I’ve observed. This becomes our north star — but it evolves as your horse evolves.
